Whilst living in Morayshire for several years, Geraldine focused on the prolific wildlife and sporting activities in the area.   Deer stalking, rough and driven shooting, trout lochs and salmon beats were all depicted in her many sell out exhibitions.  Private commission's soon followed for clients who wished to record their workding dogs or another personal moment in time.

Geraldine was also asked to exhibit at the World Wilderness Exhibition in Findhorn during 1982 which pleased her greatly in an acknowledgement that conservation and countryside management can and should work hand in hand.

She also takes her inspiration from nostalgic photos of the countryside and often refers to them in an effort to record accurate historical information.   The fabulous heavy horses, the romance of seemingly quieter and more peaceful times, a county market brimming with people and livestock are all included within her canvases.
